Baofeng just got sexier. Way sexier.

Ever wondered who’s behind the voice helping you to navigate through the menus of the early Baofeng UV-5R series, or the Baofeng BF series? Meet Jing Fei. Who wants boring American accents in their Baofeng after seeing this? Not me.

Bring back the Chinese accent!

Jing Fei, the Baofeng Voice.

Jing Fei. Chinese name, meaning “quiet not,” from (靜) “silence, stillness,” and (非) “not; wrong, vicious.” (A Mandarin-Romanized Dictionary of Chinese, MacGillivray, 1921).

“Quiet not”… how appropriate.

  2. I think her name should be Jing Fei.
Jing should be her first name means quiet, silence in Mandarin, which is very common first name in Chinese female.
