Ham Radio Blog PD0AC

Thoughts of a Dutch radio amateur

Welcome to a marginal blog

When I started this blog in September 2006, I didn’t expect much visitors. HAM Radio in itself is marginal, and writing about it even more. So I thought. In the beginning my own expectations were spot on. A few dozen visitors a month, that was all, even less than I had hoped for. In 2007 visitor numbers started to rise slowly but surely. Instead of just a few, the number of visitors a month hit the 2000 mark. Still marginal though, just as I predicted.

We’re almost six years later now, and I’m starting to get into trouble. The number of unique visitors (*) is now up to 1000 per day, and as a result the number of questions from readers exploded exponentially, too.

Therefore I would like to ask you not to be impatient if you don’t get an answer right away. Not only do I have a life (really!), I probably live in another time zone too, and I’m not obsessively checking my e-mail every 10 seconds or so. Please bare with me. I will answer you.

Hans / PD0AC

(*) ‘Unique’ doesn’t include my own visits, search engines and repeat visits from the same user on the same day.
