Thoughts of a Dutch radio amateur

New Amateur Band?

If you like to experiment with new frequencies, KnightRadio has the solution: the TYT TH-UV3R. Not the normal breed of dual band radios, that’s for sure. I wonder what type and length of antenna is included in the package for transmitting on 400-470Hz. Yes, Hertz, not MegaHertz. ;)

The necessary 400Hz antenna will be delivered separately by an 18-wheeler.

  3. I buy one and my conclusion is that is a nice radio in features much better than the UV-3R but the quality of audio in the speaker is problably one of the worst that I see until today even worst than the old Jingtongs…
All the TYT radios that I have was very very bad in sound.
